The program for this project was to rehabilitate an old airplane engine factory based in Barcelona in order to engage the Catalan National Library Inside.

I took the main office volume from the old factory and extruded vertically to give the users a more silent and private space to study while granting them great views over the Besòs river and over the whole library without being seen. The ground floor is organized with house style boxes where activies were held inside.
